ISymphony Revies

  • Summary: If you got $200 to throw away for this inferior product then be my guest. Otherwise, deal with a reputable local vendor so you have some recourse when the jonk quits working!!
  • Pros: Cheap and good picture. Please note that I gave it ONE EGG as the software won't allow me to review it without giving something and they don't have ZERO available!!
  • Cons: Only lasted 63 days and newegg's 30 day return policy really blows! My next TV purchase will be from Best Buy's local store so I have some recourse. Yeah it had a 1 year warranty but how long will I be WITHOUT a TV and STILL paying for Direct TV while they figure out what they are going to do????...

Great for the price

  • Summary: The only problem I have with it is that it only has one AVI input, but considering the mordern world works off of HDMI, it's not that big of a deal.
  • Pros: Looks great, decent looking GUI and, best of all, got it for 190 dollars when it was the shell shocker.
  • Cons: Sound's a bit tinny until you mess with the EQ settings, and the stand is a bit shaky

  • Summary: Got it as a Shell Shocker deal.
  • Pros: Amazing picture. Currently have it connected to my PC via HDMI. Its set on my PC for full 1080p. Clear, crisp and bright. TV end of it is very good. Stand is sturdy and easy to assemble. Cheap.
  • Cons: Stand doesn't move. Cant really tilt it. Not really that big of a con. Could use some more connections and better menus but it was cheap.

Bang for your buck

  • Summary: I don't actually own this model, I have the 42". But since it's not listed I am reviewing under this one. The TV isn't the greatest, but I paid $399 shipped for the 42" just as a bedroom TV, and the picture is great.
  • Pros: Cheap. Great picture.
  • Cons: Cheaply made. Flimsy stand, cheap gui/menus, lack of connections.
