Summary: I hate my Insignia TV with a passion. I am writing this review as I sit here staring at a blank screen. It has gotten "confused" yet again. I had to move my heavy TV stand away from the wall to unplug it as sometimes this is the only way to reboot it. I hope it dies soon so I can be rid of it.
This TV forgets settings after an hour. It is junk.

Summary: This TV forgets settings after an hour. Scanning channels, setting favorites, all that work is lost and you have to start over. I sent it back for warrantee repair and it is still broken. I doubt if the repair technicians did anything. So, the TV is junk and the company is junk.
Summary: This television is great, very easy to set up and it automatically sensed that I have a cable box. I am very pleased with the sizew and the sound of this television. I have a small apartment so this television fits perfectly. Great sound Clear pictures Reasonable price
Summary: This TV was so easy to set up. As soon as I brought it home, I unpacked it from the box and immediately hooked it up using the quick guide (it's so easy even a caveman can do it!) you will need to buy HDMI plugs if you are connecting external hardware such as cable box or a streaming device.
Summary: After two weeks, the bottom half of the screen was dim and the whole screen was washed out. If the TV stayed on for an hour, the lamp in the bottom would suddenly illuminate and it would be fine. But if you buy this, keep an eye out for this phenomenon and return your TV.
Summary: I bought a 42" LED Insignia tv at Best Buy, because of the way it looked and also because of the low price. It looked great, and performed flawlessly, until one day just over two years after I got it, I have sound but no picture.
