Conclusion: The screen is fantastic and amazingly cheap on Novatech. I bought mine a year ago when I had the October/November/December 10% off deals costing me only £180 when it was £220 back then. Fantastic monitor, at first the LED was a little too bright for me but when you fiddle with the monitor menu and use your NVIDIA/AMD colour settings you will find that you can match it to the quality of an LCD quite easily.
Conclusion: Had this a couple of months now and I am very pleased with it. As a default setting it has a welcome screen upon powering up the monitor that blares out full brightness with the brand name, I saw this as Iiyama showing off every pixel from day one (you can disable this in the settings menu) and as my 5* review suggests no dead pixels.
Conclusion: I've had this over a year now and use it for design work, digital photography, and simple play. It's bright. It's brilliant. I'm buying another one. Oh, the speakers are the usual pants even if operational, but who uses the monitor's speakers these days...? Well, if you do, they're OK close up. Great finish, easy controls, gets dusty.
Conclusion: Just bought it! Boy is it great, massive improvement over my much loved, but much dropped (slight courier damage when I got my old 22 inch repaired) Ingram micro monitor. Bonds very well with a GTX 560 TI and an I7 Gen3 motherboard. I love Novatech, They really live up to the statement on the plastic bags - Worry free computing.
Conclusion: Just hooked this monitor up to my recently home built computer and all seems to be perfect! Wanted something of reasonable size as have been using a monster of a telly as a monitor. This seems to fit the bill without being to much of a scale drop. Looks to have nice colour depth, was plug and play no faffing about and no dead pixels to be seen. Would highly recommend. (no included hdmi lead, but this seems to be standard nowadays) Chuffed !
Conclusion: Bit unusual this, but I just bought an I7 platform (tigh HDMI out) & have a GTX 560 TI (again with HDMI) and an Amp with (yes you may have guessed HDMI). I havent bought this monitor yet, bit just by my testing in the showroom (at hamilton Road/ Portsmouth) I am definately going to buy.
