Hitachi 42PD7200

chocolate..., Ciao
4 October 2006
  • Excerpt: This is great piece of kit and is a worthwhile addition to any home cinema setup. The look of the panel is very smart with its integrated speakers and blackish finish. This would be classed as a middle of the road plasma. Not cheap, but not overly expensive. I think it gives a good balance of cost and quality without breaking the bank. It has loads of great features on the easy to use menu system and enough connectors to keep an army of technophiles happy.
  • Pros: Good looks, easy to use menu, great picture
  • Cons: haven't found any yet

Size Matters.

Legendary..., Ciao
7 January 2006
  • Excerpt: Size never used to matter. At least not once you got up to 32". In the good old days 32" was pretty much all you ever needed - and a good job too because anything bigger weighed near 100kg and would destroy most TV cabinets! With the advent of flat panel displays and projectors, all that changed. Now size does matter because you can go all the way up to a ridiculous 70" screen or, with a projector, the wall's the limit!
  • Pros: Connectivity options, HD ready, Styling, Price, Picture
  • Cons: Setup

  • Summary: get this plasma if you are on a semi conservative budget, or save up if you are on a very conservative one because the price difference is more than made up by the quality.
  • Pros: Picture is excellent so is sound, everything the more pricey plasma's can do this can do an sometimes better
  • Cons: the designing isn't as attractive as other plasmas, but hah who cares with a picture like that. its not whats on the outside that counts but whats on

  • Pros: beau design,bonne restitution de l'image
  • Cons: incrustation, dalle assez chaude
