Summary: I bought this brand new from best buy. In o7 when 08 models were released. I specifically asked and they found one in stock in back hidden. I was able to buy for less than 700 bucks,so i have owned this tv for 8 years and it has a plethora of inputs, many not offered on newer tvs.
Summary: We purchased it for our 25 wedding anniversary in 2006, partly for ourselves and also for our teenage son who wanted a really great TV to play games. For some reason he ended up disgruntled (there was a lag time between when he played and when the TV responded).
Bought in 2007, Still Primary TV in 2014. Non tech savvy review.

Summary: Purchased this plasma in 2007. It was a better model back then and almost 1500 dollars. The picture quality is great and has all the necessary inputs. I've hooked up every device and even used as a computer monitor. The unit is extremely durable and very easy to keep clean.
Summary: We purchased this television almost five years ago and it's still holding up nicely. The picture is crisp and clear with no distortion, it is viewable from many different angles, and has provided us hours and hours and TV and Wii playing pleasure.
Summary: I have had my Hitachi for over 2 years and I have not had any problems. The HD channels are awesome. PS3 shows up with a great picture. BR movies are a go. The only thing I regret about buying this TV is that it's not big enough...I should have purchased the larger ultravision TV.
Summary: I have had the most miserable experience with my 42 inch LCD TV it has been in the repair shop more that at my home. Three trips and still the picture goes out. Customer Service is now dealing with the problem in the most unfriendly manner possible.
Summary: We have owned this TV for a year now and have had zero problems. The remote could be a little better but that's my only complaint. Picture quality is outstanding with HD programming and really good without it, too.
Summary: I bought this early this summer when I wanted to upgrade. Having had a Pioneer Elite 60 inch big screen tv for 6+ years, it was hard to give it to a friend when I moved. I went looking to get a good value for a good tv.
Summary: BUY A SHARP AQUOS LCD - THEY ARE MY NEW, FIRST RECOMMEND! If I could do it over again I would! Let me begin by saying that I'm a technophile - work at Google currently - have worked at Oracle and Microsoft previously... I know technology!
