Summary: Don't buy this piece of junk, or anything by hanns g. their warranty is useless and so is their equipment.
Pros: The stand is pretty sturdy I guess.
Cons: I'm not the kind of guy who's obsessed with perfect picture, the maximum number of colors, so on and so fourth. I just wanted a monitor that was 24", and fairly inexpensive. This particular model though uses soft "touch" buttons instead of physical buttons. Within 3 months, the buttons stopped wo...
Summary: I was wary of the Hanns-G/Spree brand at first, but now they are my #1 choice for quality, affordable flat-panels (LCD/LED)
Pros: -- BRIGHT. Just as bright as the LED versions I have. We got three of these, and four LED versions. -- Have purchased 7 different Hanns-G/Spree screens (two models) and have never had any issues et all. Never a dead pixel, never a problem.
Cons: -- Not really a con, because all screens with built in speakers have low quality speakers. With speakers this useless, they might as have just not included them.
Cons: Screen bleeds from 3 different points. I've never seen a monitor that does that, and I'm really not very picky. Very dark. I saw this after messing with all setting several times, and having this next to another monitor the gradiance is substantial. I've purchased many hanns-g monitors- this is t...
Summary: After reading the other reviews and finding this monitor on sale, I thought I was in for a treat. I got it to replace a Samsung 21" panel that was perfectly good, but I wanted a bigger experience. So, I thought I knew what I was getting. What a letdown, primarily for the cons I've listed above.
Pros: Inexpensive, no dead pixels.
Cons: Wobbly, not very crisp, only tilt (no height adjustment), touch controls just a bit too touchy, brand new out of the box and came with fingerprints on the screen (I left the protective covering on until ready to power on - I've installed hundreds of LCD panels and know how to avoid ), no DVI cabl...
Summary: Turn down the brightness when you receive one of these, and don't plan on using the built in speakers.
Pros: Nice large screen size for the price, the built in tilt is nice, the base isn't flimsy like some other monitors
Cons: Monitor came from the factory with the brightness at 100, definitely have to turn it down. Built in speaker quality sucks (I always use gaming headphones, just had to test them out when I got it)
Summary: if you dont need the sound, there are far better cost options out there, but I have never gone wrong with any Hanns-G monitor.
Pros: *Hanns G quality *23.6 Inch w/speakers (needed for office desktop) *No dead pixels - ( I am 10 for 10 with NO dead Pixels from Hanns) *Very Stable base *The best sound I ever heard from built in speakers. (but I would go with external for home use)
Cons: Only con I could think of is, there is no way this monitor could be used for Surround or Eyefinity. The Benzel on the side is a hugh 1.125"... Not a con for me since I got these my employees.
