Summary: I bought this tv last year for a summer home. It was used very little for about 2 months. This year it worked fine until yesterday and suddenly stopped working. I called customer service and because it was over the one year warranty they would not do anything at all!
Summary: Great picture quality, but the sound is defective (or bad by design). You might be able to get some really good speakers to plug in, but the increase in cost got me to the combined price of paying for another TV with equal picture quality TV AND good sound (and less hassle).
Summary: Apparently, my TV lasted longer than most-about 2 years. Would cost more to get it repaired than it originally cost. I will now pay the extra $50-$100 to get Samsung quality that will last 10+ years. Customer service didn't really care & I learned my lesson the hard way.
TV Broke 10 months in and I've spent 3 months trying to get it fixed or money back-- HAIER customer service- liars!!

Summary: Bought a HAIER TV in 2011- and the the component input never worked. Lived with that for a while then decided to use the "Warranty" (Warranty is Chinese for "Yeah right-- sucker!!!") Sept. 2012.
Summary: ...this 32" LCD TV came with my Dutchman travel trailer parched last December, 2012; it has been used less than 6 hours over the course of about 10 months, yesterday the LCD display suddenly and without warning went completely black, including loss of sound.
Summary: I bought this TV 11 months ago. I was skeptical about its brand ... but I gave it a try since it was in promotion for just under $200 (It was really a great price for that size TV by then). I am very happy that I have given it a chance. The picture is crystal sharp!
