Summary: Great little TV I bought for my son to play his Xbox on. I haven't heard any complaints. I bought because of the high refresh rate as that's what others had said would be best for Xbox play. I might have gone with a larger one for my tastes but this one was in his budget (he bought it with his Christmas money).
Summary: I tried a NAZDA (SP)15" LED and the picture was terrible. You had to be siting right in front of it, no side view or it looked like you were watching a negative film. I ran across this Haire 24" COMBO DVD LED tv at Fred Meyer on a close out. Ended up paying $194 and it works great. The view angle is great, now my wife and I can see the same great picture. Also, the built in DVD is sweet.
Summary: I deliberately chose Haier because their LED LCD TVs have a 12V power supply. Why? Because I installed it in a limousine. It's been installed for about 6 months now and has performed flawlessly from frigid temperatures to oven-like temperatures. The picture is crisp and clear. It uses very little power - can be wired easily into any RV or trailer (or limousine) 12V system. Everyone who sees it comments that it has a better picture than the TV in their own living room!
Summary: Very nice small TV. White looks great. I use it for bedroom and also as a PC monitor. Picture quality is not bad and with some adjustment, was able to make peoples face not so orange/red. Also many reviews note the terrible sound quality. I also got distortion when you try to use higher volume. I turned off the SRS TS XT and now no distortion. Great buy.
Summary: Works great for a xBox monitor. I bought it at the same time I bought the xBox and as that is all I use it for, works wonderful - I dropped it by accident and the face place came off, I snapped it back on and still works fine. It is setting on my small fridge on the floor. So the Fridge acts like a TV stand of sorts and the fridge is stocked with beer and Wine Coolers and some coke. Handy, don't have to go anywhere for intermission except to get rid of the fluids.
Summary: This set is advertised and sold as a 12 volt HDTV. It does NOT come with a 12 volt power cord, only a 120 volt ac adapter. I purchased this set for use in a motorhome and/or boat. Have not been able to find a 12 volt power cord for this set. This set is expensive compared to other 120 volt HDTV's of this size.
Summary: Bought it for an RV TV, works great, weighs practically nothing and has a good picture. I know some people have complained about the sound but I don't care since I have surround in my TT. WAY less expensive then 12v TV's....hint... Just find the right adapter for any 12 volt plug that accepts them and.... BAM! you are golden.....
Summary: We bought this TV for use in our RV because it will work on 12VDC. It is OK for playing DVDs. As a TV, it has a very weak receiver and seldom receives a signal unless we are practically on top of the transmitting station! Don't buy this unless you have a very strong TV signal or just want it for videos.
Summary: Bought this for my mother. She loves it. The picture is very good. The sound is so-so but that is true for almost every LCD/LED tv. Plug in some cheap computer speakers to the back and it is all good.
