Excerpt: Finlux has made quite a name for itself for offering rather good TVs at bargain prices, and the Finlux 32F7020-T easily joins that list. For a wallet-friendly £280, you get a 32in TV that offers a Full HD screen, passive 3D, a built-in Freeview HD, and four HDMI inputs.
Pros: Sony BDP-S490, Crisp and clean picture in SD and HD, Decent colour palette and overall detail for the money, Very good value
Cons: Sony BDP-S490, No smart TV or internet, 3D quality is patchy, Black levels could be deeper and subtler, Thin sound
Conclusion: If you really can’t muster any more than £280, even if you save up for a month or two more, then we guess the 32F7020-T is an adequate budget proposition. For just £20 more, though, you can go for the superior, 2D only . Unfortunately because Finlux 32720-T has its contrast issues, rather basic colourscape, and to some extent irrelevant 3D pictures it’s far from one of Finlux’s finest hours.
Pros: Very aggressive price, Decent motion handling, Decent USB features
Cons: Uninspiring contrast, Rather simplistic colour palette, Crosstalk with 3D
