Summary: Before I bought this TV, I had a 3D LG 60 inch TV that I am still paying on. After 2 years and 1 month, the screen went out and I was told by 4 different technicians, it would be cheaper for me to buy a new TV rather than replace the screen which I was told would cost around $1200 to replace.
Summary: In think these TVs must have improved since all of the negative reviews. We haven't had ours long enough to know how long it lasts yet, but we love it! Simple setup, light weight so it wasn't a hassle to mount on the wall, picture is great and sound is good with a meat surround sound feature.
Summary: We had a problem with the first one of these we bought and they told us it needed a new board. They paid for us to send the TV back to them and they sent us a new TV. We have no issues with the new one at all. And would buy from them again.
Summary: i have had this tv for 2 years and have used it everyday for over 12 hours, i love it. its just missing an optical output, but they do sell converters. i would recommend using your own surround sound because the built in speakers suck.
Summary: Low price, but much LOWER quality! I will never buy another Element. The picture and sound are both poorer than any other TV available. PLEASE check out Walmart customer reviews...there's good reason they no longer sell this TV.
Summary: When i say spend more and save later i mean spend more for a better TV and save later by not having to spend to ship this thing back within the first year of having it. I had the TV for about 8 months when the power supply died on it, i called to see about getting it replace and the tech said i will...
Summary: My 55" ELFGW551, when setup, had obvious jagged scars across the top & bottom of the screen. I immediately called Element; they said "you need a new main board; we will ship it to you, & when it arrives we will have a technician install it for you, all @ no cost.
Summary: If you just want a cheap big tv this will do the trick. The colors are kinda washed out. Maybe I'm just used to my plasma tv's but this one just doesnt look that good with HD tv like sports and movies. Blu-ray and Video games look pretty good tho.
Summary: I have had my element 46" TV for almost a year now and it has been great, or should I say WAS great. The HDMI ports quit working and because it is under warranty I called customer service. They informed me that because it is under warranty that they would take care of the problem.
Summary: It is not true that these sets are made in the U.S: as the article below shows, they have PLANS to make them in the U.S. but currently they're manufactured totally in China: [...] To be honest, I do not own an Element TV, but I did go into Target and played with one to test it out.
