Crappy product with the worst customer service

  • Summary: I got this TV for my birthday 6/7/12. I have only used it about 3-4 times because it doesn't power on. In order to get the television to turn on, I have to unplug the TV for a varied amount of time and it gets very irritating.

Not worth the money!

  • Summary: We have had this TV a little over a year and it just stopped working out of the blue. It's very ironic since it replaced a 20 year old TV. I will never buy another Coby product or buy any electronics from Amazon again. Stick to the big box stores, at least there you get customer support.

Don't Waste your money

  • Summary: We gave this TV as a Christmas gift in 2010. It stopped working this month, so just over a year of use. NFM only helps out w/in 30 days of purchase. Manufacturer was worse. Called on a Thursday, spoke to someone & they were having someone call back. Waited until MONDAY, still no call back.

  • Summary: This tv was bought for Christmas in 2010. It worked for a couple of months but then every once in awhile, the tv just doesn't want to turn on. Called customer support and it no longer exists. You have to email them. I've emailed but received no answer. I'll never buy another coby again.

Dead spot on arrival.

  • Summary: RMA seems cumbersome for Coby. TVs over 33" are treated at home, maybe I'll give a better review if the customer service is good.
  • Pros: Good price.
  • Cons: Sound quality is very low. SD video quality is ok at best. Big dead spot on my screen right out of the box, very noticeable. There's a dead pixel inside of a bunch of what seem to be stuck pixels.
