Summary: I have the Coby LCD tv in my bedrooom and the Coby LED tv in my living room. I bought the LCD back in 2011 and hasnt skipped a beat since, I bought the LED tv as an open box special a year later and I can safely say that these tvs have been great to me.
Summary: Bought 2 of these a few years ago, on sale. The one I have in my bedroom won't turn on. When the tv is off there is a little blue light that is barely on. When the TV turns on the light brightens. When I try to turn it on the light does a quick flash to red and then it dies.
Summary: I had been looking for a tv that I can afford for about 2 years. I finally decided to turn to amazon after not being able to find what I wanted in a store. I thought I was getting a good deal but when the tv came, the first thing I noticed was that there was no remote.
Summary: Bought three (3) of these. Thought they would be a nice bedroom TV. I was wrong. ALL 3 had an HDMI fail within 3 months of buying them, and yesterday, after less than a year, ALL THREE failed (won't turn on) within a YEAR of purchase.
Summary: The tv is gorgeous, light and thing....however the speakers aren't very good. You can turn it up to it's highest volume and if someone flushes the toilet you'll miss something someone said on whatever you're watching. We use this tv mainly for our bedroom since we don't watch it that often.
Summary: Purchased June 2012 and in September 2012 after being off all night, no picture or sound but standby and power light works. Coby wouldn't replace it and said that it was up to the store I purchase it from. Even though we bought a warranty.
Summary: If you have plans to put up a home theater, I strongly warn you NOT TO BUY this particular model. It doesn't have any audio-out jack to extend the audio coming from its own speakers. You wouldn't be able to enjoy High Definition (HD) movies with poor quality sound coming from its built-in speakers.
