Summary: I purchased this TV as a gift for my children for Christmas. The TV worked fine until one day we were watching TV and it just turned off. I attempted to turn it back on and it never came back on. I called and inquired about the warranty; I was placed on hold for over an hour and then transferred back to the ivr.
Summary: this tv is 39 inches one inch short of qualifying for the 1 year warranty; and quit working ten days after the 90 day warranty expired... on the plus side it is the cheapest tv of this size and worked for three month. the picture (when it worked) was also just okay, not great or terrible.
Summary: I liked the deal, read the reviews, and decided this would be a nice TV to replace an old flat screen in my bedroom. So I pulled the trigger and the TV arrived on schedule two days later. As soon as I set it up and turned it on, I knew I was in trouble. With only the setup menu on the screen, there was a wavy line going across the screen near the bottom. There was also a red vertical line going right up the middle of the screen.
Summary: This TV design/look is modern. The picture, especially with the HD cable, is great! As a matter of fact, I really like everything about it EXCEPT the sound. This was a Christmas gift to myself. I initially had it in an old style entertainment center. So, when the sound wasn't coming out loud enough (even at top volume), I attributed it to the speakers (which are on the sides) being blocked in.
Summary: I bought this TV for my bedroom mainly for gaming and streaming from my PC. The picture is perfect, HD, the characters on Assassins Creed 3 multiplayer are ridiculously vivid and detailed. Netflix is clear. Fiddle with the controls for a few minutes you'll get it. I may buy a sound bar sometime next month but I doubt it, the sound is great for my bedroom.
