Summary: I bought one locally and it worked fine. I bought another for the guest room. Within two weeks the first lost the picture and sound. I contacted COBy and they told me I had to send it to them (TEXAS) at my expense and enclose a $40.00 MO to cover the return. I was so angry I refused to send it back and told them what I thought of their policies. The second (guest room) I installed in my room. It also has issues. Periodically the sound goes off.
Summary: I bought two of these for the kids rooms. both failed within six months. I have heard from others that this is not unusual for Coby. However, I still have larger COBY that is still working fine.
