Summary: the company is out of business, the sister model to this one, tftv3229 has been recalled, and it appears there is a preponderance of negative reviews. my own experience - all of the ports stopped working - useless and not worth the repair. if i could give 0 stars, i would.

Summary: I bought this TV last year and I didn't even have it for a year when a few days ago it stopped working so today I took it over to a TV repair place just to find out that all I could do is throw it away and buy a new tv
Summary: I hooked the TV up and within the first hour of using my PlayStation (through HDMI 1) the TV made a loud pop and the screen froze in a half snow pattern. The same thing happened through all 3 HDMI ports (I tried them all). I highly recommend that you DO NOT purchase this television.
Summary: Coby is now out of business. There is no manufacturer warranty available for this product. Purchaser may have to rely on alternate sources of recompense since no Coby-manufacturer warranty is available.
Summary: I bought this TV for Christmas last year. We had problems with it from the beginning, but only minor things at first. The picture would turn black and we attributed it to the xbox in the beginning. I had thought that maybe it was a bad connection. However, the tv has been getting worse and worse as time goes by. Now the picture will flicker and then freeze. It's bad quality and with being a single mom on a tight budget, I'm very upset that I made the wrong purchase.
Summary: This TV had it's drawbacks, but for the price it was fine. I used it for a monitor for my computer, which it was really bad at since it was hard to read small print, but it was adequate and I knew it wasn't the highest quality HD when I bought it. Since we don't have an antenna or cable service we used it watch Netflix, and it was fine for that. Until of course it stopped working after 17 months.
