Summary: Our big screen TV went out so rather than buy another one right away when we knew there would be awesome sales for Christmas, we bought this as a bridge TV - just something to keep the kids happy for a couple months until the good sales came. TV quality is great. We bought it refurbished and had an issue because the company we bought from forgot to include the stand.
Summary: I bought this as a black friday deal in 2012. I wanted to wait until I've had it a year to review it since a lot of people said they had issues in the first year. I took a star away because the first HDMI port on mine will occasionally stop working and the screen would go pink. I can't figure out if it is JUST with the cable box Time Warner Cable gave me or if it is the TV, but I think it is the TV because I moved the port and haven't had any issues with my new company...
Summary: I bought this TV during Black Friday last year. For that price, I'd have given it a perfect 5 stars, but for your everyday price, I've got to knock it down to 4. It's still a REALLY good TV for the low low price, but I've had a pixelation issues, but not too bad.
Summary: I purchased a TV in November and have had to call Coby 4 times already. After a few months the TV WILL STOP WORKING trust me. The blue light still comes on but no picture or sound. I've read on other websites that people are having the same problem as me. Coby said they will ONLY cover the labor for 90 days. After the 90 days (still within the year warranty) Coby will only take care of parts, so you will have to take it to a repair shop for them to do the labor.
Summary: it's ok I guess. I mean I was expecting a slim tv. Don't get me wrong the bezel in slim but the back of the tv looks thicker than an lcd, it's like a tube tv.Imagine-wise, it's looks good, not stunning, just good. If I had to do this all over again I would spend a little more. If you are short on cash this is a good brand/tv but if you are looking for more reliability, esthetics and functionality (this one doesn't display pictures or plays media from a flash drive) look...
Summary: I finally bought a flat screen TV, and as my friends would say, upgraded my life. This is my first flat screen because I'm not a big TV watcher, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, I love my new TV. It was inexpensive, easy to assemble, the picture color is great, and all the features on the TV/remote were easy to figure out.
Summary: I purchased this TV in January. It is my first digital TV. I was excited to get it hooked up and ready to watch. The stand was easy to attach with a Phillips screwdriver. I also have a VCR and a DVD player connected to the TV. All the jacks are on the back of the TV. Once I finished the hookup, I was ready to check out the picture quality and play with the remote settings. I have read some reviews that say flatscreen TV's don't have good sound quality.
