3 years and on 80% of that time

aaron52, Amazon
6 May 2014
  • Summary: i'v had time a little over 3 years and it's on almost 24/7 -- and to date the color, image quality, cfl backlight are as if i just came out of the box, doesn't get hot like the others i'v had which when adding some dust build up around the venting to the internal heat eventually causes the caps to blow which is a disassemble and repair i seem be doing more and more these days on lcd monitors and hdtvs. but this aoc looks like i might never have to crack it open.

  • Summary: Love the AOC brand and is very popular in Europe. This TV is several years old and works wonderfully. Love the picture quality even at LCD 720p.

A Darn Good TV

Chris LeBlanc, Amazon
22 May 2011
  • Summary: I want to start with the very best of this TV, and that would be it's inputs. Along with the regular antenna input for picking up DTV over the air, it also has 3 HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs, and 2 composite inputs. Just to help you out with those, the HDMI is digital inputs from devices like cable boxes, satellite receivers, blue-ray players and newer DVD players.

  • Summary: This TV was purchased for our bedroom, and I am very happy with the overall quality. It was a great price six months ago and still is a good price. Highly recommended!

Still great after a year

William L. Safreed "WB", Amazon
23 November 2010
  • Summary: We've owned the 32" AOC for over a year now and it is still flawless. Was just remarking to the wife last night how awesome the picture was on an over-the-air HD broadcast show (from the local PBS station). Even though it is "just" 720p I'd challenge you to see the difference between this and a higher resolution screen in this size range. I'd like to see the channels change faster in future models however.

great tv

  • Summary: this is an all around great tv. received the tv in a matter of days, no stuck pixels. this was my first lcd tv, and just for a warning to anyone else that has never owned one, this tv will make regular cable look like crap. Hi-def cable or blue ray is awesome on this set!

Do not Buy AOC

Mark, Amazon
9 June 2010
  • Summary: Buyer be aware: AOC has faulty and substandard packaging, the monitor's screen sits right under the packaging tape without any protections what so ever, if you are not careful you will share my experience, my knife scratched the screen, they could protect the screen, but they don't, there's no protective packaging material between the screen and the packaging tape on top.

For use as monitor

Charles Lockwood, Amazon
9 May 2010
  • Summary: I really like this TV for the price, I use it as a computer monitor, mostly because I watch alot of online movies and such. My only issue and why its not 5 stars is that the TV does not have the best resolution (it can only go up to about roughly 1300 X 700), so that isn't great. But all in all its worth the price and I have yet to have any technical problems with it so far.

Solid tv, exactly what I needed

Joel E., Amazon
3 April 2010
  • Summary: This is a terrific, solid tv. Great picture, easy to mount. My only complaint with this tv is that because it is an off-brand it does not have a setting in my set top box remote so I still need to have two remotes to control them both.
