Summary: I bought this item to use an a computer monitor, attracted by the idea that it could double as a TV my computer room. It does work (I use the HDMI input for the video from the computer), but I have two issue with the product: 1 - Even when my computer goes into power standby and stops sending a video signal, the television does not seem to have an option to similarly power down. It simply displays a message that says no video signal is present.
Summary: I bought this tv for my bedroom to have hooked up to my roku box. I had used it for less than 15 hours when the screen went all static then off. The tv no longer powers on. The led on the front changes to blue for a second after hitting the power button but then goes back to orange (standby mode). I wish I could return it, but I threw away the packaging.
Summary: Pros:The definition is spectacular. Ez setup. Needs a slight downward tilt for my preference. Cons: OSD is minuscule. I bought it for a replacement for a crt-tv in bedroom. Bed is 10ft away. Need binoculars to read guide, channel, display, closed captions, etc. To set sleep, literally must get out of bed and get arm's length to read setting.
Summary: When the box arrived, it was so damaged that we wondered how the TV itself fared. We were pleasantly surprised when it came out of the box in excellent condition. Simple, snap together stand was very easy to put together. There is also the option to wall mount the TV if you purchase a wall mount kit. I connected a VCR (through the tuner) and a Blu Ray DVD player (through the HDMI) to the TV and they both worked great.
Summary: This set worked OK when connected to my satellite box, but would not tune in my local channels. I tried 3 different HD antennas, and I live close to the center of town. My other HDTV has no such problems. The picture quality was mediocre. Because this set has only one HDMI input and I wanted to also play DVDs on it, I was forced to buy an HDMI switch, which are not inexpensive.
Summary: Pros *The tv out puts 1080p very nicely. *When connected to the pc it can output; 1920x1080@60hz** 1680x1050@60hz** 1440x900@60hz** 1280x1024@60hz** 1280x768@60hz** 1024x768@60hz,75hz** 800x600@60hz,75hz** 640x480@60hz,75hz**. *It has several zoom modes which can allow you to switch the stretch of the screen and the zoom if there are channels or video games that do not support wide screen.
Summary: First off, for the price point this HD is a great value. 1080P, and many inputs. I have had AOC/Envision monitors for 5+ years and never any problems at all. Very good contrast and sharpness of the picture. Looks great for football or dramas. Sounds is ok too, you need to actually play with the settings and then it sounds good. I also got it hooked up to my PC and it does a great job. Instead of buying a monitor and a HDTV PCI tuner, I purchased this tv.
Summary: Pros: I love how this TV has so many inputs! I have my Nintendo Entertainment System connected through the coax input (and my VCR over the NES coax input), my Super Nintendo through composite (RCA) input, my Nintendo 64 through S-Video input, and my Nintendo Wii through component input. I also have a GameCube but the Wii plays those games too and there's no more input available (lol). I also use this TV as my 2nd display for my computer.
