Best Telescope

jhol5771, Ebay
7 October 2014
  • Summary: I bought this telescope to do a little gazing and I must say that I am more than satisfied. I thought that it would be hard for me to assemble the telescope but I was wrong. It only took a few minutes.

good scope

Ryan, Orion Telescopes & Binoculars
4 August 2014
  • Excerpt: Better made then i thought for the price. My first reflecter and the weight surprised me. Alittle heavy but a big improvement in light gathering power then the small refractors. I purchased the extra powerseeker eyepieces (9mm and 15mm) and put the eyepieces that came with the scope away.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Poor Lens Quality

Nice Beginner Scope

Nick, Orion Telescopes & Binoculars
18 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I have read so many reviews that don't mention anything about the actual telescope and how it works. Many just talk about the product arriving on time and in good condition. Well I have used this telescope for over a year, and overall it is a nice telescope. This was my first real telescope.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Lightweight
  • Cons: Poor Lens Quality, Unstable

I did well in my choice

John the Magnificent, B&H Photo
11 March 2014
  • Excerpt: As an amateur astronomer, a beginner. I require assistance in setting up and using this scope. I knew this from the beginning. Am joining a star gazer group for moral and technical help. I found out that my telescope is stronger than what most have now. Plus it's motor drive adaptable.
  • Pros: Compact, Expandable, Lightweight
  • Cons: Help As A Beginner Needed

Could have been better for the price

excellency23, Ebay
4 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought this for my husband and he really likes it, but it would have been better if it came with better instructions on how to put it together and how to focus it. This is the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars.
