Excerpt: Being new to using a telescope and astronomy in general, there is a lot to learn, but this telescope was pretty easy to get up and running. Had it all assembled and was looking at Jupiter within an hour or so. Was pleasantly surprised at how well things looked even though I was trying to view the sky through a limited opening of trees in my backyard with a fair amount of light pollution nearby.
Pros: Easy to Use, Reasonably Compact, Reasonably Lightweight
Excerpt: Item undamaged, functions properly. The Sky Align worked after I programmed the correct closest city, so be careful. Saw Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Orion Nebula, the moon on first night. I wish I had bought the accessory bundle when I got the telescope. It seems as if higher power eyepieces or a Barlow eyepiece are needed to see planets really well, so I'm going to pick those up. So far I am happy with it.
Excerpt: First telescope. Easy to set up. I'm not that familiar with astronomy so the computerized object finder is great. It aligned easily once I got all the information loaded. Pretty easy to use and easy to setup. Lots of features for the money.
Pros: Easy to Use, Instructions Are Good, Lightweight, Quality Lenses
Excerpt: I have difficulty using the finderscope. Perhaps it is my glasses or the location of the scope that make it difficult to line up the red dot with celestial object. I have had this problem with initial set up and find the problem continues during alignment.
