Excerpt: I am in an area with a lot of light pollutions, so far I have only looked at the moon. The Celestron NexStar 130 produces a very clear image of what you point it at. That being said I have to say that I am little disappointed by it. Upon opening it, I immediately had problems with it.
Excerpt: After picking out this telescope as the perfect price/options that I needed, I ordered this from B&H to ship to my beach condo in FL. B&H made this easy. The telescope arrived as promised, fully functional and ready to use. I would definitely do business with B&H again.
Pros: Accurate, Compact, Easy to Use, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I ordered my telescope Wednesday and it came in on Saturday on the same week. I wasn't expecting it for another two weeks so I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to put together and can't wait till the clouds clear and I can go out and take it for a spin
Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Easy To Assemble
Excerpt: The weather in Chicago hasn't been too compliant, but so far this telescope is proving to be a good choice. Sky Align was a little more time consuming for the third point. The telescope is a good first choice for me.
Excerpt: This is my first telescope and I am very pleased with it. The clarity is amazing and when dialed in correctly will follow an object through the sky the entire night. Of course I'm usually bouncing around and checking out several sights so I don't zero in on just one thing for long periods of time.
Excerpt: First I want to say that this was my second purchase from Telescopes.com. Great pricing and excellent customer service on both orders so I'll be back again.

I purchased the telescope, lens and power tank combo. This review is for the telescope and included hardware only.
Pros: Assemble And Go, Easy To Assemble, Great Beginner Telescope, Great value for the money, Quality design
Cons: Lcd Is Tricky To Read, Stand Is A Little Wobbly
