  • which scope would be best for me?

I am a novice, my only scope was a walmart for about $150. pretty much a toy. Now at 63 I would like to get into this hobby. I have narrowed my search to the 800 or 900 cpc OR the 800 cmeg celestron telescopes. I want to be able to take photos at some point as i become more knowledgeable. I know the mounts are an important factor but so is user friendly. I like the gps feature on the CPC. Also I have mac computer will that be problematic in down loading any of the software? I also like the feature of the scope being able to guide me through our night sky teaching about what i am viewing. Please share your thoughts.
