Excerpt: Will you buy an electric toothbrush and the charger separately? that is what happens with this telescope. I can't believe I bought a $+ dollars telescope and then open the 3 boxes and realize I have to buy a $ adapter to make it work.
Pros: Accurate, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction
Summary: I change my previous review from poor to all 5. I added the Star Sense Auto Align well worth the wait and money. I also purchased some great lenses from Tel Vue Panooptic 41MM, Ethos 17mm and 11mm. What a difference and the telescope is amazing. Sorry Celestron for the poor review
Summary: The system is heavy; I built a base with wheels to move it in out of the garage. I had the Telescope for a year never did find any planets, just moon shots. Tried too use the programmable base and never did get it aligned properly, if you dont have it aligned perfect, every time you will never get...
Pros: The Moon shots are great
Cons: heavy and hard to setup for planets need aditional lenses not worth the money
Summary: Even after a year and a half, I still love this scope. I'm glad I went with the 11" over the 8 and 9.25. It really isn't that hard to set up. This is my first scope. The views are amazing. Buy an EdgeHD over any other sct, you won't be sorry.
Summary: I recently started using this telescope and I can easily say that it is worth the money. Optical clarity is great, the hardware is easy to use and setup. I am really excited to transport this badboy up to WI where the sky is clearer, so I can do some serious stargazing!!!
Pros: Great optical clarity, easy to use, sturdy build quality
Excerpt: The scope's optics seem great. The views are fantastic. The mount seems to be more ten stable for visual. The controller quit after about 20min of use. After searching they seem to have trouble with the hand controllers. I rated the scope as very good despite the controller.
