The Astro-Physics 160 mm f7.5 features Astro-Physics optics triplet refractor, air-spaced apochromat, Theoretical Resolution, optical tube, focusers, 20x to 600x, FeatherTouch, Dewcap and accessories.

Features

The Astro-Physics 160 mm f7.5 features a telescope with triplet apochromatic refractror with Astro-Physics optics and multi coating technology. It offers 1200 mm of focal length which allows a full range of eyepiece designs from simple to complex to produce sharp planetary images. It also offers f7.5 photographic speed. The Theorectical Resolution is featured at 0.7 arc seconds. The air-spaced apochromat is said to use the highest grade of optical glass for purpose of achieving outstanding image brightness and color correction to all visual and imaging needs. This telescope has a magnification range of 20 x to 600 x. The tube assembly construction consists of multiple machined-in baffles where it reduces stray light. The sliding dew cap features a built-in baffle which prevents dew and block stray light. The rotating focuser collar allows images to be framed for artistic composition. The Astro-Physics 160 mm f7.5 features 4 inches Giant greaseless focuser for the telescope. Focus travel is 105 mm for the 4 inches focuser. In addition to this, the focusers are positioned according to the focus of the Baader Planetarium Mark V Binocular Viewer without the support of 1.25 x compensator which allows wide-field views with both eyes.

Additional features

The Astro-Physics 160 mm f7.5 features recommended German Equatorial mounts which are Mach1GTO, 900Gto or 1200GTO for astrophotography. It also features accessories which include FeatherTouch Dual-Speed Focuser Upgrade, Flat-field Telecompressor at f5.75 for 35 m photography and large format CCD imaging, 4 inches Prime Focus Field Flattener, Flat Field Converter (FFC) Barlow and Related accessories in the FFC system, 2 inches Convertible Photo-Visual Barlow, MaxBright 2 inches Mirror Diagonal and 6.5 inches Mounting Rings.
