Terrific phone/tablet, well worth its modest cost -- super performance!

  • Summary: This is a terrific unit, well worth the money, even at its original price of $ 300. It's my 2nd ViewPad7, the first having served me well and loyall for over two years until the power connector went flaky (likely my fault). It is fast, reliable, solid performance. Its form factor makes it easy to read even fine print on the Internet, it's quick on downloads and display, and the screen delivers a bright, readable image.

Amazing tablet for on-the-lap readers.

Enyix, CNET
1 November 2012
  • Pros: Wide screen and very affordable when using for reading documents in PDF format; calling capabilities are more than desirable on this device and its inclusion was a right decision. GPS functionality is simply awesome when using this device.
  • Cons: Slow processor which sometimes becomes freezed when using hard processing programs.

Excellent starter Tablet

Jose Chajon/ VIACOMP, Amazon
5 November 2011
  • Summary: The ViewPad 7 is an excellent starter tablet: Quick Pros and Cons: Pros: Long Battery Life, Built In Micro SD slot, unlocked 3G, relatively light weight, office docs software, good responsive screen and very stury frame Cons: Slightly slow processor (not dual core), Android 2.2 (and no sight of upgrade or OTA upgrade). I wish Amazon had a kindle fire with unlocked 3G.

Viewsonic Vp 7 Just what I needed--

Nicholas, Amazon
20 September 2011
  • Summary: Purchased an Acer Iconia A500, 10" tablet because I wanted something that I could use to catch up on work when away from my home office. It worked well, but it was larger than I'd wanted, and became a wrist-breaker after an hour or so. Returned it. Looked at 8- 9" tabs, but they were still too large. Wanted back pocket portable, Settled on the 7" format, then did some looking and research.

The ViewSonic ViewPad7 is as good as the Galaxy Tab, and costs a lot less.

see_tn, Ebay
10 July 2011
  • Summary: When I read that the Viewpad7 could take a SIM card and become a smart phone that immediately got my attention. That it was fully compatible with the Android Marketplace Apps was another eye opener. Although my Samsung android phone covers all of the above, my ViewPad7 has bigger bolder text fonts and I text a lot.
