Lack of Support

Ron J. Klein, Amazon
16 August 2011
  • Summary: As Nguyen wrote in a previous review, I do not own the Viewpad 10 model. However, I did purchase a gTablet from Viewsonic and after only 4 months on the market they have chosen not to support this device. I suspect that they will do the same with this Dual Boot model.

  • Summary: I have bought my Viewpad 10' dual boot tablet in Jan 11 but found out that there is no more space to even update the Window ops. I currently stay in Jakarta and have tried to call their support in Singapore to help, but all I get is the answering machine ask me to leave my phone and told me that...

Tim Yenmor "Tim", Amazon

  • Summary: First of all, I need to make it clear that I do not own one of these devices. I am the site owner of viewsonic gtablet for dummies (google search it). I am writing this review to make people aware that barely 4 months after the viewsonic gtablet was out in the market viewsonic dropped all support...

Viewpad 10 - flawed implementation

1-800 DIVORCE, Amazon
18 June 2011
  • Summary: After carefully reviewing tablets, I purchased the viewpad because of it's impressive specifications, fast (for a tablet) processor, and most of all the dual boot feature. After returning my original viewpad 10 for a replacement due to application problems with android and repeated talks with tech...

Good idea - Horrible Implementation - Product

Clyde Lerner "Clyde Lerner", Amazon
12 June 2011
  • Summary: Wow - this tablet really sucks. The brand new unit worked for about 2 weeks and then it no longer held a charge. Sent it back under warranty, and after 4 weeks, got a unit directly from Viewsonic with Best Buy stickers all over it, indicating to me it was a DOA unit that Best Buy returned to them.

FORGET IT!

1-800 DIVORCE, Amazon
8 March 2011
  • Summary: After 3 weeks, things have stopped working in both Android and Windows 7. Tech Support at viewsonic was nice but useless. Indicated the product was sprung on them and certainly wasn't trained at all to handle a call about this product - wasn't even familiar with menu system and thought product came...

A good Idea that falls short

eman, Amazon
7 March 2011
  • Summary: I purchased one of these about 3 weeks ago. I heard about it last last year and its ability to handle the Windows 7 OS and the Android OS. I thought this was a neet idea allowing the use of full blown Windows Apps on a tablet. After waiting about 3 months for it to become available, I purchased one.
