  • Summary: I like everything about this Tablet. the dual boot OS is great. I do the work on Windows 7 and play on the Android. Its a very good Tablet unlike the Cheesy piece of crap called IPAD. I thought specs were just right for me. If you are looking for something BIG AND FAST buy a Gamer desktop, monitor, keyboard and mouse try to carry that BAD BOY around in your backpack. GOOD LUCK to all those looking for bigger and better.

Great product!

  • Summary: This tablet works great! It came with Windows 7 installed which worked well, however I installed the Windows 8 preview on it and boy does it make the tablet experience totally come to life! The SSD hard drive is upgradeable as is the DDR3 memory module. You can even install a mini pci 3G card for data via a mobile network ( AT&T or other) Has a micro sd slot which can accept up to 32gb, great for adding extra storage space for software and files at a relatively low...

Better than an Ipad

cristyandryane1, Ebay

  • Summary: I love the Viewsonic 10, I love having dual boot capability on a tablet, although to get to the Android side you need a keyboard, the windows side is great, and having android is great too. I have a Ipad, and frankly there are just some things it can't do that a full version of Windows can, and the android part offsets anything missing from apple, I would love to see a Windows/apple tablet one day, that would truly be the best of both worlds.

Viewsonic Support

  • Summary: Since most of the negative reviews are from non-owners I will weight in with a more honest review from a non-owner. I own a Gtablet and can attest to Viewsonics support. I bricked my tablet trying to install aftermarket upgrades. When I contacted customer service they immediately gave me an RMA and sent out a replacement tablet. Recently they released an OTA upgrade to 2.2.1, now I can watch Netflix and Hulu on the tablet and the tablet is noticibly faster.

Don't throw your money away...

manjourney, CNET
19 January 2012
  • Summary: I have the option to buy other products like Ipad, Motorola Zoom or even the Samsung one. I like the option of having the two operating system in one. I like android to surf the web and windows for work (word, excel, etc). The android forget about it ( doesn't work) and the windows 7 is the only thing I use but runs out of space. I erase everything and still running out of space. I'm frustrated almost $600 throw away...
  • Pros: Nothing... the only thing that works is Windows 7 but runs out of memory space and crash a lot...
  • Cons: Everything, don't buy it. And think before buy any product of this company.

Lack of Support

Ron J. Klein, Amazon
16 August 2011
  • Summary: As Nguyen wrote in a previous review, I do not own the Viewpad 10 model. However, I did purchase a gTablet from Viewsonic and after only 4 months on the market they have chosen not to support this device. I suspect that they will do the same with this Dual Boot model. A computer hardware manufacturer needs to provide service and an upgrade path for their products.

help!!1

Lynn, Amazon
31 July 2011
  • Summary: I have bought my Viewpad 10' dual boot tablet in Jan 11 but found out that there is no more space to even update the Window ops. I currently stay in Jakarta and have tried to call their support in Singapore to help, but all I get is the answering machine ask me to leave my phone and told me that they will call me back which has never happened. I have used the external micro SD card to install some programs but they will still occupy my C space.
