Worst Tablet EVER!
14 December 2012
Summary: I bought this tablet in December of 2011 before there was a lot of info out on it. Big mistake. First off, it's already broken. I always handle electronics carefully and aside from a few scratches on the back and a tiny nick in the screen, it has been in very good condition.
Summary: I love this tablet. Larger sized makes it easier to view. Also compatable with local library so free books and audio books galore! Amazon apps are also great - you get access to the "daily free app" which is neat. Kids use it to play games and read books.
Summary: Hi there I know your looking thru these reviews before you decide on a tablet so since i got this one last week I thought I would give you my views on this tablet as a owner. First Amazons shipping was amazing..
Summary: I've had this tablet for just over a month now, and these are my two cents. The Pros: For an entry level, under $200 tablet, it isn't terrible. It arrived with just a few bloatware apps, mostly android OS stuff and a few games.
Summary: If you want a tablet/reader but want to have the ability to expand storage I'd check out the Nook tablet. I wish I'd gone that route instead of the T408.
Pros: The price for this tablet is great. I love the screen size and though the offical google app store isn't available the app store that is included has a lot of free apps and I haven't found one yet that won't work on the tablet.
Cons: The firmware is awful. The update firmware fixes some problems but creates others. To top it all off the calander app doesn't work because you are prompted to enter a Microsoft Exachange account to add events. Cruz says an update to fix this is upcoming, but the last update was October 31 2011 so...
Summary: After much research, I ended up buying 2 of these tablets for my teenage daughters. They are a great value for the buck. They are not Ipods or Ipads, but they have many of the same features. The size is great! I am so glad I went with the 8". What a difference. The Amazon Android market is ok.
It's okay for the price (except the charger situation), read on
The Truth, Amazon
12 January 2012
Summary: Product is okay but after buying a Samsung Galaxy, I'm no longer impressed (clarity is not so great). Please see my nightmare search for a backup charger below: *** Update 2/1/2012. Finding a backup charger has been extremely difficult, the one they sell on Amazon from KHOI1971 does not work.
Summary: i received this tablet on time. i really loved it. especially using the office suite. then when it came to downloading apps using the amazon market it refused to. it stated that i had to have an account at a bank in the US. this is ridiculous!!!! i really don't know what to do.
Summary: Great Product, GREAT Price! Great for basic searching the web, email and fun games. The Amazon Book downloads are Great! This is not for the serious tablet user. The Picture on this Tablet is BEAUTIFUL!!! Easy to use! Fun to have! Vern
Great Tablet - rate for what it is (not what you wish it was)

Summary: This is a great tablet for what it is. It is designed to be an inexpensive tablet for those who do not want to spend the big bucks for an iPad or a high-end Android tablet. Of course, it does not have some of the features that you would expect on a pricier tablet (like Bluetooth, a faster processor,...
