Velocity Micro T301

25 August 2011
  • Summary: The Velocity Micro Cruz T301 Android tablet is a decent, low-priced option for general Web and e-mail tasks, but its bulky size and mediocre screen quality make it a poor choice for e-books, multimedia, and games.
  • Pros: The Velocity Micro Cruz T301 delivers Android 2.2 on a 7-inch screen for an affordable price.
  • Cons: We're not fond of the dim, low-res screen and bulky design. Also, core Google Mobile apps aren't included, including Android Market.

Velocity Micro Cruz T301 7-inch Android Tablet Review

25 August 2011
  • Summary: Final Thoughts While this tablet did not blow our minds it is a tablet you may want to consider if you are on a budget.  With the price tag of $159 at Geeks.com it is one of the lowest-priced tablets running Android.  It will do your daily tasks like checking e-mail, reading books, surfing the web and watching videos on YouTube.  Also the speakers are pretty powerful considering the size of the tablet.
  • Pros: – Does your basic tasks, – Running Android, – Speakers are very loud, – SD slot for extra storage
  • Cons: – Sluggish, – Dim screen, – No Android Market, – No dedicated navigation buttons
