  • Summary: I have used this computer for the past year at work. I have installed our electronic medical record software program as well as our medical office billing program with an x-link to perform my medical documentation as well as my billing simultaneously. This handy gadget has eliminated the need for cumbersome desktop computers in every clinic exam room and allows me ease of movement with all my patient records at my fingertips.

Toshiba Portege M400-100: Another Good Idea, Badly Executed

DanB7290, Dooyoo

  • Summary: This was a tablet before the iPad made it cool. I had one as my first laptop when I went to college, and at first it was, of course, the best thing since sliced bread. But not long into owning it, I encountered problems. It's definitely not built to last, everything has a cheap feel to it. Being a tablet/laptop hybrid, it uses only the one hinge in the middle of the screen which rotates.
  • Pros: Combined tablet and laptop before the iPad came out
  • Cons: Inferior hardware, feels cheap when it isn't, breaks every 10 minutes

  • Summary: I bought this laptop when it first came out, five years ago. From the day I got it I knew it was the best computer to me in every way. I am twelve now, and have had this since I was seven. My Dad also had one for ages, and then gave that one to my brother after four years of continuous use.
  • Pros: An amazing laptop. Fast, long battery life, performance of a laptop and convenience of a tablet
  • Cons: Perhaps the fan noise?

Hurray for Portege!

  • Summary: **UPDATED 31/10/10** When I first got this on order from amazon.co.uk, I looked at the box and thought 'jees its huge!' After stripping down the 100's of layers of wrapping and cardboard on the laptop , I finally got to it. It is very petite in real life, yet a good weight at 2.1 kg - not too heavy but not too light, about the weight of a little over 2 bags of sugar. It's 29.5 cm wide, 24.9 cm high and 3.9cm deep.
  • Pros: Great pc, good features - tablet
  • Cons: keys break easily, loud fan, not a modern machine any more :(

Excelente Tablet PC calidad Toshiba
