Good laptop, crippling design choices

Thomas Vaughan, Amazon
30 July 2005
  • Summary: This is a pretty decent tablet for the price. Toshiba managed to pack in a fair amount of processing power, and although small the screen is crisp and remains clear even...

on off button a problem, but only if you are right handed

E. Gary Starr "tablet doc", Amazon
11 December 2004
  • Summary: I'm pretty sure this was designed by a lefty. Because if you are right handed and are using the tablet feature, your palm is forced to sit on the on off button.

Toshiba Portege 3500 - Best of breed, but heavy

maxmidnight maxmidnight, Ciao
19 May 2005
  • Excerpt: Over the past few months, I have been evaluating and rolling out tablet PC's across my organisation within the Health industry.
  • Pros: Robust, powerful, functionally superior to the competition. All you could ask for from a tablet pc.
  • Cons: Can get hot, but nothing to worry about, battery life shorter than with other models (3.5hrs), heavier than the competition making it awkward for the true mobile user.
