Toshiba Excite 10 LE

CNET
17 September 2012
  • Summary: The Toshiba Excite 10 LE sets a new design standard for thin and light 10-inch tablets, but the specs don't live up to the name.
  • Pros: The Toshiba Excite 10 LE is the thinnest, lightest 10-inch tablet yet, an achievement made more impressive by the inclusion of HDMI, Micro-USB, and microSD memory expansion.
  • Cons: The proprietary charging adapter is a beast; the screen is so-so; the internal speakers sound thin; and the construction quality looks better than it feels.

  • Pros: Slim. Well-built aluminum exterior. Fast quad-core processor. Full-size SD card slot.
  • Cons: High price for features.

Toshiba Excite 10 Review

Phone Arena
5 June 2012
  • Conclusion: Above all, we have to admit that we truly love the direction that Toshiba has gone with this tablet, as it seemingly obliterated all remnants of the Toshiba Thrive from last year that has floated around in our heads. Donning a vastly better looking design combined with some muscle flexing hardware specs, there’s enough to like about the $450 priced Toshiba Excite 10 .
  • Pros: Solid aluminum body, Fast quad-core processor
  • Cons: Bleeding around the sides of the display, Shoots terrible photos & videos

Toshiba Excite 10

MobileTechReview.com
16 May 2012
  • Conclusion: For those looking for a straight Android tablet rather than a convertible netbook style tablet, we can easily recommend the Toshiba Excite 10. It has the fastest CPU currently available in tablets and the latest OS. It's very fast and stable, and it's thin and light. As a premium product its materials and design stand ahead of the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 and Acer Iconia Tab A510.
  • Pros: Thin, light and premium materials. Fast quad core Tegra 3. USB Host, runs ICS.
  • Cons: Display has light bleed.

Toshiba Excite X10

6 October 2012
  • Excerpt: The Toshiba Excite X10 LE is one of the few 10-inch tablets available on the market with Android 3.2 Honeycomb pre-installed. It runs on a 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM and can have either 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded further with a microSD card. The most exciting thing about it is the fact that it is lighter than its predecessor, another Toshiba tablet named the Excite 10 , since it weighs in at just 558 grams (19.7 ounces).
