Summary: Does almost all that we wanted, but it would be rated as a 5 star if it had JellyBean 4.2. Having the ability to have multiple users would have given us the abilty to give up on the aging laptop all together.
Summary: I bought this Toshiba after getting myself totally confused by the online reviews on pretty much all of the tablets on the market right now. I'm not new to android or touchscreen but this is my first tablet and I wasn't sure whether to start with a well equipped but cheap unbranded model or just go for a more expensive branded one (with the exception of an iPad which I can't and won't stretch to).
Summary: Well, I was one of the lucky ones who got a 32GB version for £250 before Amazon sold out. I flogged my Nexus7 to buy this as I also have a Galaxy Note, and the Nexus7's 7" screen was rather too similar to the Notes 5.3". Downside is that its still on Android 4.0.3 (ICS) rather than JellyBean (4.1). Jelly bean has, however started to roll out - but not to UK-bought devices as yet.
Summary: Toshiba AT300 32GB 10.1-inch Tablet (nVIDIA Tegra T30SL 1.3GHz, 1GB RAM, Micro HDMI, Micro USB, Card Reader, Android 4.0) After a disappointment attempting to buy this product with another seller, Amazon provided an excellant and speedy service at their busiest time just a few days before Christmas. I am a very experienced computer person dating from the 70's and new exactly what I wanted my tablet to do and what sort of price I was prepared to pay.
