Summary: Should have spent the additional $100 for an i-Pad! Thank you Toshiba for another unpleasant user experience.
Pros: small and light. Fairly responsive, and good size. auto upgrade to ICS
Cons: 1 yr and 3 months into ownership without heavy use, like Words with Friends and Kindle books, the external camera ceased to function s did the audio and the flash just decided to stay on all the time, which not only creates a serious drain on the battery, but also over heats the tablet and is jus...
Summary: The reason for the four star rating is that I think that I need time to really access the tablet. But so far looking at the tablet it seems tiny until you are using it, then you forget the size. The size makes it easy to travel with in a bag.
Summary: With the increase of these getting stolen I have a solution for you. Find a hardback book that is larger and thicker than your tablet cut a hole in the pages that fit your tablet put tablet inside so when the tablet is left sitting in the car or anywhere else it is just an uninteresting book so no...
Pros: This takes sixty Gig SD cards UHS or class ten. Move files to and from PC with USB. Uses al the good high end apps. Large enough to watch good netfilx. Not be crosseyed to do it. Small enouigh to fit in purse or book. I have seven college aged girls including grand daughters. We have the whiz ban...
Cons: Waiting for someone to mention something they do not like about their Thrive.
Pros: It was a hard decision but I bought this instead of the Google Nexus 7 and I am glad I did. The 5 MP camera and SD Card slot are paying off nicely. I wear it on my belt in a custom pouch. I have anticipated something like this since the late 1990's. The 7" is now on ICS as of last night.
Summary: Overall great tablet...size is fine...much more flexible for a user to customize and use how they need to!
Pros: Many features--versatile...sd slot (have a 128g in now)...small/large hdmi cable input, usb input, great shape for viewing spreadsheets, android-...can change out battery--back cover, works great!
Cons: Sound could be better...on and off button a little hard to find at times.
Summary: good value for the money. especially now. good workhorse tablet
Pros: more features than other tablets. especially like the full size usb port. quich and easy file sharing via thumb drives. price is nice for a 32g tablet. i also like that i can change out the battery.
Cons: a little heavy. toshiba is slow getting the upgrade to android 4.0 ready.
Summary: I got it open-box from Newegg, so it might not show as a "verified owner". Still, I did buy it from Newegg. :D
Pros: * 1280x800 screen * great viewing angles * 16GB of storage AND micro SD * micro HDMI output * Responsive interface * Front and rear camera The high-DPI of the screen has to be seen to be believed. Previously this was the only 7" tab with such a high-res screen. Now you can get one on the Nexus 7,...
Cons: * Stuck on Honeycomb * Stupid proprietary charger connection Toshiba has pushed back and pushed back their ICS update date, and there has been no discussion about Jelly Bean. If you want timely updates, you should probably go with ASUS tablets as they're already on ICS and working on JellyBean.
Summary: This is a decent tablet for the money and i enjoyed using it untill the problems that i encountered. Over all it's a good mid ranged tablet that works well for general use. Would be nice to find a way to fix the above mentioned problems.
Pros: Fast processor, smooth switching between apps, decent graphics.
Cons: The volume is low even when on the highest setting. The touch screen lags and doesn’t work correctly. The Gmail freezes up, when I am writing messages it starts freezes up and the touch screen becomes unresponsive. The Power button and the volume up button stopped working. I was watching a movie ...
Summary: I bought this for my daughter's final year in high school and I'm looking for one for myself now. This is a snappy little tablet. It's got great speed and you can add memory via a SD card. Books, pictures, videos and music can all be stored out on the SD card, leaving the onboard 16GB for apps.
Pros: Memory expansion through SD cards (up to 126GB) Full USB port for ease of transfer of data Beautiful screen quality Ease of adding an extra battery
Summary: At first I thought I had a bad Mini-USB as others have thought they had. My PC just wouldn't recognize the tablet. Turned out to be my PC and Windows 7 (64Bit). With the Thrive plugged into power AND into my PC USB port, I rebooted my Thrive.
Pros: AT1S5-T32: Fast & smooth. Great screen. Nice size and easy to handle. Ports all work fine, as does MicroSD. Like having the mini-USB and mini-HDMI. Can transfer directly to/from PCs & Laptops via Mini-USB, or use MicroSD.
Cons: Not a big deal, but I dislike proprietary power connectors. Battery life could be improved. I get longer life on my older, rooted NookColor.
