Excerpt: Had it for a while now, I love the battery ,screen, The only problem are the ports. I broke one because of constant use to plug the USB.I would also would like a better front camera and a faster processor.
Cons: FLAPPS, Front Camera, headphone jack is covered by flap
Summary: simply put: I love my Sony Xperia Z tablets. I own two of these, and a more powerful water resistant tablet simply cannot be had for this price. The Sony Xperia Z combines elegant design with the toughness not found in any other tablet in this price range.
Fantastic Tablet, worthy against the Competition of Samsung and Apple.

Summary: First of all this is the First Generation of the Xperia Z tablet, this is not the Xperia Z 2 Tablet (Which has more amazing specifications) I was so lucky to grab this tablet for $220 here on Amazon (9/19/14).
Pros: As another reviewer commented, I was also not feeling a warm and fuzzy feeling when the unit arrived in a brown box and wrapped in bubble wrap, but once unpacked, I was very pleased to see this was as in New condition with not a mark/scratch.Booted up and ran an OTA update and its performing exce...
Cons: No Con, but hope Sony will eventually offer OLED displays with their future tablets. The newer Z2 does not, only an IPS panel upgrade, but if Sony adds OLED panels, They will give Samsung a good run for the money .
Summary: Ordered Sunday morning. Arrived in As-New condition late Tuesday afternoon. Great service. I was a little apprehensive about ordering this refurb unit because--while I'm very high on refurbs--I had never purchased from this Newegg marketplace vendor.
Pros: Remarkably good tablet at a terrific price
Cons: Packaging was a new definition of "bare bones" but unit was pristine
Summary: It appears that it is a luck of the draw that you get a perfect refurb or a not so perfect one. So I would keep sending it back until you get a perfect one. It is a great tablet and if all you are doing is content viewing it will fit the bill at 4.3 and you do not need to upgrade it.
Pros: Tablet arrived in mint condition and quickly. It had Android 4.3 installed. Light tablet, real quick processor with a very vivid screen. Hooked up to PC Companion with no problems. This is my second tablet and it is half a pound lighter than my Iconia A500.
Cons: The tab covering the charging USB is an accident waiting to happen. Pulling it off and putting it back is a pain and you will break it eventually. In Android 4.3 the keyboard can flicker from time to time. If you upgrade to the current Android 4.4.4 it is fixed but you will lose use of the SD car...

Summary: So far, so good. Product came in great condition as promised in a timely fashion. Also comes with a 90-day return policy in case of future issues with the tablet. Would recomend vendor to others for future purchases.
