Great for the Price...but not perfect.

Summary: After much review, I went with the Sony Xperia S because of price, performance specs, SD card expandability, and the Sony reputation. After using the tablet, I can confirm that it is well worth the price!! After updating the Android and App software, I have had ZERO issues of any type, to include the Wi-FI connectivity issues that have been mentioned by early users. The update fixed that completely.
Nice tab for the money. Fast, sound is good overall a good buy.

Summary: Xperia is overall good tab. I wanted to work with school work, but I haven't found good aps to work. I want to carry around my class and do my attendance, grade, assingments right there, but yet there. Weight is not too bad. Sound is great loud and clear, better than my laptop. Netflix and other movie plays well, though I prefer to watch in my laptop. It is fast. Overall its a good buy for the money I paid.
Summary: Great tablet for being my 1st & for the price I had it 200$. It's a very handy device if you need to go online check your emails or watch videos. It's also upgradable to 4.1 android system. I have it for about 2 months and it works pretty well so far. The only problem I encountered is the headphone input works only on one side...no idea what happened. But overall I'm very happy with my tablet and I would recommend it especially for the price.
Great If You Can Live with Proprietary Accessories
5 January 2014
Summary: The device is one of the best around, but the catch-22 is the proprietary charging cables and chargers for which the designers meant to extract additional revenue by not going standard. Most of the chargers you see on ebay for this device are expensive and do not even work with the particular model they are advertised to charge. If you cannot obtain a charging cable (usb with special plug required to fit the special charging port) you are stuck.
Summary: This is my first tablet. I expect that as I learn more about using all the apps and the camera features I will get to love it. But my problem is that an instruction manual does not accompany the tablet, and it makes it difficult to get the info I need in an easy to read or see the necessary instructions.
Summary: This is a great buy. A waterproof tablet is quite hard to come by, but one that looks so good even harder. On top of that, it comes with 64gb memory and by adding a 64gb or 128gb SD card, easily get 200gb memory, capable of storing enough movies to be a portable library. To top that off, it is more affordable than it next model (Xperia Tablet Z, which has a lower memory) Highly recommended!
