Summary: It has good points and bad points. Good points, The display is awesome for its 1280x800 resolution. The sound from the external speakers and headphone jack is very good as well. It is a fast tablet......when it wants to work fast. Bad points, My tablet is in repair as of right now (9-8-13). it will freeze and shut down in the middle of doing the simplest of tasks. it has been in repair for 3 weeks.
Summary: Easily rooted but locked bootloader so no custom roms yet. After rooting can use titanium backup and folder mount. Display is great but Battery life so so. Odd form factor but love moku case. Not sure if A keeper yet due to so so battery life.
Wifi Is now fixed after several days of testing wanted to revise review
12 September 2012
Summary: Now that the problems with wifi have been fixed / patched wanted to revise the review. The size of the tablet is just right, easier to hold then a 10.1 and type on with thumbs. The corners /curves are somewhat pointed and over time although it is lighter it becomes somewhat uncomfortable to hold, would have preferred more rounded ones.
Summary: The thought of waiting until Monday was just too much for me, so I picked this up at Best Buy (sorry!), but I actually got it a day early and have been playing/testing it all day. I've been waiting for a Tegra 3 version of Sony's tablet for awhile, and I have to say it's everything I was waiting for, with one boneheaded play by Sony. First the good stuff: This tablet is FAST and responsive. There's no setting for power saving or performance.
Very average bit of kit with slow screen responce..

Summary: Average performance tablet with slow screen responce.. also not compatable with some android apps, including the Sky Go App which I miss.?? Neither Sky or Sony seem worried about this failing, so wish i'd bought an I Pad..
Summary: This tablet is beautiful but... nothing more, I found it a bit slow and the operating system is full of that crap software by Sony that you even can't delete (unless you have root permissions). I substitute it with a Google Nexus 10 and is another world! is fast, the screen is incredible, the resolution is excellent and there are a lots of roms that is possible to nstall. Believe me, go for Google Nexus 10, you will not be disappointed!
