Summary: This tablet is by far the best mobile device that I've ever had, except for the fact it froze in the first 4 months of use. I looked this problem on the internet and people had the same problem, some within the first 2 weeks of use. So be cautious about it. But in the lines of hardware, very smooth and fast. Has a pixel density of 161ppi but the HD screen makes it look like 500ppi. If only it would have lasted longer then i could have rated it a 5 star!!
Summary: The tablet seems fine and I would have loved it if it wasn't for a defect it has on the screen. There are some dots of shadow close to the right edge which you can notice clearly when the screen is white or in a light color. I've notified the seller but hasn't hear from him until now, this is a shame.
Summary: I purchased this item from amazon about 2 weeks ago and upon receiving the camera did not respond, when i clicked on the camera button a message came up saying gallery has stopped responding......tried doing a factory reset, clearing data and cache in gallery app and still no help, did a upgrade to android 4.1.1 and still noting Other than the camera problem the device was remarkable, responded very fast and screen was brilliant, would of been a perfect device if not for...
Summary: After reading a number of reviews I thought it would a be a nice "just-for-browsing" tablet - stylish design, solid quality and relatively good hardware. After I received the tablet I found out it was very laggy even in simple browsing using Chrome. Then, I updated it to latest android version but it did not resolved problem. Then I installed Dolphin, and everything became relatively good. However, I revealed the most annoying cons of this tablet: VERY poor battery life.
Poor customer service, one-year warranty does not cover everything

Summary: I bought this as a gift for a loved one. Sony says it comes with a one-year warranty. I tried to get them to fulfill it. I was bounced around their customer service for the better part of an hour, and ultimately denied. My adapter broke in five months. They say the adapter is not covered. The adapter retails for $35, about 10% of the purchase price. Please consider this before purchasing. The customer service experience shows they're really not interested.
Summary: This tablet is very slow and laggy, for some reason Sony have not released a JellyBean filmware update for this tablet yet and there are no future plans so far to do so, this is expensive tablet running old dated filmware.
Summary: I can't believe there is no one around here reporting about the poor video performance of this tablet. I couldn't find much review about these problems anywhere else either! However, after digging deeper on the web, I found some online communities that had the same complaints. My story goes like this: I purchased the Sony Xperia Tablet S 9.4 after a lot of research and after experiencing with a bunch of other tablets.
Summary: So I have been shopping around for a while considering getting a tablet that would function as an intermediary between my netbook laptop and my Kindle Fire which I have found to not have enough functionality on certain issues but otherwise really like. I settled between the Sony and an iPad mini and finally decided on the Sony as it was a little larger than the mini while not being quite as large as a regular iPad and had an SD card port which I really liked.
