Outdated software, bulky and no support with no possibility of upgrade
24 April 2014
Summary: Powerful hardware but outdated software and no support. It is also a bit on the bulky side with and ancient android version. Sony always does this with their products. I would only recommend it if you are getting it on the cheap, very cheap say under $100 bucks.
would recommend it if price is low, but would also look at other brands

Summary: I use this tablet all the time. Is heavy by todays standards and wifi has tendency to lose connection and not reconnect . Will I buy this brand again......time will tell but after a year it is still performing like the day I got it.
Summary: First off, I love the tablet and I've got no complaints about the tablet...the only thing hurting the rating is the power cord. It's very loose where it connects to the tablet, and it stopped working entirely after 8 months. Since these things are $70 a pop it's very annoying to have to replace it.
Not sure purchased as a gift will not know until Christmas

Summary: I'm not sure what one this is for I have purchase two of the same item. And I'm also not able to give you any information on the item because they were purchase for a Christmas gift and I will not know how they work until after Christmas
Summary: I saw this item in the Sony store in the an outlet and talked to a sales person about it. They had the 16gb for $300+. Just tooling around on ebay, I saw the 32gb for $250 with the $50 cradle. I thought that was a great price for it with the limited time I tested it in the store.
Summary: Sony makes some great products, and overall this is a great product, but its not without its flaws. Design and functionality are a plus, very responsive and easy to hold and carry. A plastic screen may be a turn off for some, but it makes it more hardy and is what allows for the looks of this unit.
Summary: First of all, the over all design is excellent. The ergonomics are excellent, Sony really stands out from the crowd on this. The screen is great, sharp, bright, just as you would expect from Sony. I don't really have anything else to compare it to, but the speed seems to be very good.
Summary: I purchased the sony tablet almost a month ago and right away I had problems with it. I had high hopes for this android tablet after reading the reviews. It timed out and I couldn't get it to boot back up.
Summary: First of all let me just say that I like Sony products....which is why I ordered the tablet in the first place. I really don't care for the Ipad. I think the Ipad is way too expensive for what it is and it's highly overrated. But back to the Sony Tablet.
