Summary: Just want to say, this was one of my best buy of a Sony Vaio computer. Setup went with no hassle. In sort period I am using it I have not experience any problems as yet. The only thing that is irritable is the lack of optical drive. For most this may be turn off for buying this machine. Also the screen tens to get smudgy after intensive use and to be clean. Nevertheless I will recommend this computer to my friend because of it mobility and screen size. T.
Summary: We bought this after our ancient desk top melted down. Its a great computer and the touch screen/ tablet is awesome. I guess the only negatives would be the overall weight and the fact that there is not an optical drive on the computer.
Summary: I had a laptop at work and it was getting extremely uncomfortable to use for my line of work. I have been looking into desktops and mainly all in ones to replace it yet I did not want to pay the iMac price. Saw this in Bestbuy and decided to toy around before buying it. I have had it for 6 months now and am fairy happy with it. This all in one is like a giant tablet with desktop's soul (lol).
Summary: I have been a Sony "fan" for ages, starting with my first handheld cassette tape recorder in the early 1980's (of which I still have and it still works perfectly) to my Sony Walkman, Sony portable DVD/Blu-Ray Player, and Sony Mavica Camera. Sony has always been a reliable company in my experience so I was interested to see how I would like their computer-related offerings. I received this laptop, plugged it in and "away I went"!!!
Summary: I have already reviewed this Desktop with a slightly faster processor but quite honestly, I haven't noticed a speed differenece. This version is a couple hundred dollars cheaper and just as awesome. It's absolutely perfect for watching movies/shows, simply browsing the internet or playing games. The 20" screen with it's adjustable stand even allows you to lay this completely flat. It really is like a gigantic tablet that can be picked up and carried around your house.
Summary: This is the worst experience we have had with anything we have ever purchased. Sony is terrible. The computer had disc drive problems. Amazon got us a replacement. Sony would not help us. Who cares if you have warranty. Six months late ...guess what , disc problems. We were out of the country 6 months and we were unable to use as a computer. Back in USA, Sony says return for repair under warranty. Got email today saying they will repair...foe $1700.00 . ?????
Summary: Easy to setup, although I had to learn my way around Windows 8 which made setup longer. This mobile PC is basically a huge tablet with a detached keyboard and I really love it! It takes up no room at all and you get the benefit of a separate keyboard and mouse, in addition to the wonderful touchscreen. The touchscreen is both responsive and precise and unlike a laptop, doesn't sway when you touch it.
Summary: Bought this for our second home and it is a perfect size. I can move it around anywhere I need to .. from the office, to the kitchen counter, to the back patio. It does NOT have a disc drive but I knew that before I bought it. I have used it for over a month with no problems of any kind. The keyboard is a nice size and I love that everything is wireless (keyboard, mouse, and even monitor if I want to unplug it for awhile.
