Summary: The Dash was a pain to set up and less customizable than I prefer. However, it does a decent job of streaming Pandora to my Bose Wave Radio. I tried using it as an alarm clock but it proved unreliable. Every so often, it just stops working and needs to be rebooted. That pretty much eliminates it as an alarm clock option. Also, I needed to program it for the screen to shut down completely at night because, even in night mode, it is way too bright for a bedroom.
Excerpt: Don't get me wrong. I really liked this device. It was a great alarm clock. I loved that I could stream Netflix and Internet Webisodes, like Howcast and Scam School. I even found a really great sleep sound app. Unfortunately, the "Over 1000 apps" were mostly crap. The streaming internet radio was extremely limited, and I couldn't get the local radio stations I wanted to listen to.
Summary: This is a hard one folks. The dash is perfect if you want a little of a lot of things. It has music , pictures, video, and other apps. I bought mine to keep up with my email for one. Well , my IP does NOT work with the dash. I also wanted more of Ebay and facebook yet have found that it's not so easy to get it. As far as the news , music , NETFLIX, and the like, I am very happy.
