Summary: I agree with the other Sept. 15, 2012 reviewer/user, this product is now useless as of yesterday (at least, for me). I woke-up yesterday -9/14/2012- and saw this message on my DASH screen: "Failed to authorized: No response from the server. Please visit [...] for help with this problem". Prior to yesterday, most of the apps either slowly disappeared or won't work properly. So, I spent the better part of yesterday, trying to resuscitate my DASH.
Summary: Unlike the original Chumby, the Dash has quite a few buttons on the device to perform simple functions; but unfortunetly like the Chumby the actual setup and channel selection add/delete has to occur online. The first few weeks our relationship was off to a great start, even though the setup was a complete pain. Ideally Sony could have built a new app interface or web store, but no the app "marketplace" was a hodge podge of apps.
