Summary: This is a good deal at the price I paid and I see it is going down already. Too bad I don't need another. This is the first Samsung item I have ever purchased, I must say it is high quality all the way around. I really am surprised it hasn't been more popular.
Pros: Couldn't justify the purchase of a new one when it was released, but also couldn't get it out of my head. I wanted one and finally talked myself into it. It runs great had very few signs of prior use and is about 1200.00 dollars cheaper than it was new.
Cons: Haven't found any except maybe the back is snap fit not attached with screws. Makes it a challenge to upgrade the SSD.
Summary: I bought this for my wife that wanted a real PC tablet instead of her Ipad. Once I had it updated & customized for her I gave it to her. She used it for less than 30 mins & the (fan?) rattled started up. Plus the sound would not work consistently. Others do not have the fan rattle problem.
Pros: Price & performance. This thing runs surprisingly well. Once Windows Update patched Win7, I upgraded it to Win10 with no problems. Win10 seems to be much better for tablets.
Cons: While updating (Windows Update took forever) I heard a horrible rattle now & then. I crossed my fingers forged on, completing all updates. But once it was actually in life use, like seeing a video on NYTimes, the rattle returned & wow it was loud! Another problem is the sound, it cuts in & out ra...
Summary: I spent a lot of time looking for a device like this, just didn't recognize it when I first saw it. Windows 7 on a tablet with touch and pen and touch, what could be better?
Pros: Nice machine, not scratched or dented. Very pleased with this unit, I will be putting in a larger drive. You can run anything on this the only limiting factor would be graphics.
Cons: I don't think this qualifies as refurbished. A new copy of windows for refurbished machines was installed but no software was on it at all. Refurbished means returned to same condition as a new unit. This is a nice unit with all the manufacturer software but without it it isn't worth the money. N...
Pros: Brand new tablet. I couldn't believe this was a refurb! Blazing fast, great screen, docking station, etc. Couldn't be happier but...
Cons: Unfortunately the fan in the unit is noisy. It's very audible. It sounds like the fan is dying, the way it winds up and down while working. The blades sound like they're rubbing against something. It's so loud I have to seriously consider sending it back.
Summary: I'm giving this three stars because the returns process was very easy. Product arrived to me in non-working condition and reported I/O errors upon boot. After several tries (booting in safe mode, etc) I did manage to make it to a login screen. A user account w/ the name of 'Mark' was setup.
Summary: I upgraded this machine to windows 10 within 24 hours of receiving it. The upgrade process was very easy and took less than 2 hours total with no headaches or technical issues. Windows 10 is made for this type of machine. I have a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse as well as a digitizer pen.
Pros: Starts fast, runs fast, windows 10 was made for this machine, Amazing amount of computing power in this tablet. Digitizer pen (sold separately) works well, The combined 128 GB SSD Hard drive and 64 GB SD Card provide ample storage space. Power cord is quite long and allows me to leave plugged in ...
Cons: Short battery life (4 to 6 hours depending). I knew this when I purchased and it is not a deal breaker for me. To get this much horsepower and get away from the atom processors requires some juice. Somewhat bigger than the slimmest tablets out there, but again, the horsepower provided more than m...
