Summary: What a great Tab. Have had no issues with this since we received it. We replaced a laptop for the tab and it does just about everything the laptop did. My wife can do her school work and has no problems with it. It is light and the battery lasts a long time. we are very pleased with the Tab. We bought the tab with the keyboard and it made the tab easier to do homework.
Summary: I looked at this tablet while perusing a big box store. I was originally looking for a larger tablet (I own 2 Samsung Tab 2 7.0") to use for my business. I run two eCommerce stores and sell on various online channels. I do not have a laptop, just a desktop. What appealed to me was the full Windows experience with the tablet size. It could function as my laptop and tablet. After thinking about it, I wound up going with a Tab 3 10.1.
Summary: This is a very useful tablet with so many cool features. The best thing about this tablet is that this can be used as a lap top computer with the detachable full size key board. Even with the keyboard it is slim and weighs less. Totally fit inside my back pack. While all usual tablet features are available, this tab also can be used to type documents. Data can also be input using a touch pen or fingers.
Summary: Great little machine. Has replaced my laptop for almost all computing tasks. Battery lasts forever. Particularly love the Wacom stylus, it is perfect for note taking. (I have just the tablet, so I cannot comment on the keyboard connection issues.
Pros: This thing is a dream come true. I was totally against Windows 8 but now I admit I was wrong. This thing is so powerful and so useful that I can't do it justice. The key to it is the stylus. You can literally create anything you want with this machine. The battery lasts all day and it has made a huge difference for me at work. I can basically walk around with all the same information (if not more) than I had at my desk. Being able to write on Office documents with a p...
Cons: I often have a hard time getting the stylus out of the tablet because I have short fingernails. Same for the port covers.
Pros: The tablet is working pretty smooth when it comes to regular use. The browser experince is fluid and pages load as expected with no problems at all (It supports flash). One selling point for me was the full size USB 2.0 port, which is very useful (I transfered my favorites from my desktop with a flash drive). I have installed some of my favorite programs, including Bitdefender Internet Suite 2013, Microsoft Office 2010 Plus, CCleaner, Roboform, etc. All those programs...
Cons: I don't have any cons, I think i'ts a good tablet.
Awesome after I scuffed up the keyboard connectors
17 December 2012
Pros: Thin and light weight and super long battery life. All the speed I need and I like the pen. Keyboard size and keys are perfect. Carrying it around it feels like a ultrabook and the screen is big enough to really get stuff done with.
Cons: The keyboard connection was way faulting and kept beeping as it connected and disconnected... super annoying. I'm sure it would have worn in and stopped but I figured I'd help it along. I used a knife to scuff up the connectors on the tablet and pressed in the pins on the keyboard a bunch of times and now it works great.
