BW, Amazon
15 January 2015
  • Summary: Reburbished Item from Square Deals Inc Review: I was pleased that the hardware looked almost brand new with no apparent scratches on the screen. However, my joy quickly waned when I booted it up and tried to update the tablet to Jellybean.

Waste of time and money.

Baylees Mom, Amazon
4 December 2014
  • Summary: I knew better. I really did. I never buy refurbished but I liked my old tablet so much I wanted the same model. Dumb. It arrived with.the same locked screen issues as the one I just ditched. There is NO WAY this device was properly checked and refurbished. It was unusable. Unbelievable.

Battery problem ultimately did this one in

Alex Man "gadget guy", Amazon
27 April 2014
  • Summary: This could have been a great tablet/phone. It was the ultimate all-in-one tool. Other reviewers have already reviewed the great points about it so I won't rehash them because I loved all the features, especially the stylus. My problem with it started two months into owning it.

If I could rate 0, I would

Katrina M., Newegg
17 April 2014
  • Summary: This was my first and last purchase of a Samsung product, I feel like I was swindled into paying a premium price for a bargain bin product.
  • Pros: S-Pen very useful
  • Cons: Paper thin screen, pitiful warranty, bettery life was amazing... for about three weeks. Overall, this would have been an amazing product, if it had been made by someone other than Samsung.

S pen included with for 2x as much as the Nexus 7.

russellvinceb, CNET
16 October 2013
  • Summary: You could just buy the Nexus 7 and a samsung S Pen. Just make sure you have a safe place to keep the S pen, as it doesn't come with an integrated slot like the Note 8 does. onI'm planning to root this device because the software is just so limiting and bad.
  • Pros: - integrated s pen slot, - Up to date version of android
  • Cons: - Bloatware that is impossible to get rid of, - Touchwiz is inferior to root Android, treats users like babies, - raised back camera makes note taking on flat surfaces noisier., - SD card does not work for music apps not produced by samsung, - Expensive

4 hour battery

Scott B., Newegg
8 August 2013
  • Pros: S-PEN
  • Cons: Terrible battery life and no support from Samsung. I was told that my battery issue was caused by charging over night and that I should use a alarm clock to make sure I unplug it after 6 hours of charging. The extent if their troubleshooting was to factory reset it but I still only saw 4 hours ba...
