The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a tablet PC that supports HSUPA 5.76, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps 900/1900/2100 and EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 network bandwidth. It also has WiFi a/b/g/n connectivity, BT3.0 and DLNA support. Designed in a 190 x 120.45 x 11.98 mm form factor that weight 380g, the Samsung Galaxy Tab sports a 7.0 inch WSVGA display with 1024 x 600 screen resolution with 169ppi TFT technology. The unit runs Adroid 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and supports various application downloads from Samsung Apps and Android Market. It also features integrated SMS, Email, IM and calendar accounts and can be synched with Google, Facebook and Outlook calanders. Other features on the Samsung Galaxy Tab include multiplis homescreens (via the Samsung UI) and hybrid widgets. It is powered by 1.0 GHz application processor with PowerVR SGX540, and is supported by a 4000 mAh battery that provides users with up to 7 hours of movie playback time. The Samsung Galaxy Tab also sports a 3.0 MP autofocus camrea with LED flash and a 1.3 MP secondary camera for video teleconferencing.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a tablet PC that provides users with location base service via its a-GPS support, and playback Full HD (1080p) videos and movies via its video player and recorder at 30 frames per second (at 720 x 480 resolution). It supports a 3.5 mm ear jack and speaker, MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA, AMR-NB/WB, FLAC, WAV, AC3, MIDI, RTTTL/RTX, OTA, i-Melody and SP-MIDI audio format. It supports either a 16 GB or 32 GB memory with expandability of up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy Tab supports Flash Player 10.1 Android Browser, RSS reader, multi-touch zoom, integrated email for Gmail and MS Exchange ActiveSyns, Google Maps, Latitute, Places, Google Maps(TM) Navigation, and allows users to read newspapers, books and magazine on its eReading function. The Samsung Galaxy Tab also features a gyro sensor, and supports applications such as Swype, Samsung Apps, and ThinkFree for document viewing and editing.
