Summary: This is my 8th some Samsung tablet or so, I don't know because I've lost count. I usually never have issues with their products. The computing specs on this was off the charts and superb. While using it, the power advertised is def. in the tablet! No lag, not many software issues! Why did I give it such low ratings? Well because the chrome piece (trim) around the edge of the tablet is flaky, crispy, cheap wrapping that started to bubble on it's own and come off.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, performance, form factor a+
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, too expensive
Summary: I had an Acer A-100 tablet for four years that I loved. Never had any major problems with it until it started having charging problems. I went on the hunt for a replacment. This Samsung was tablet #3 in that search. I was feeling a litte iffy about it but then used the camera and was in love. Lots of nice features there, almost worth keeping it. The display was outstanding, very high def and clear. It worked quickly, loading apps, playing music, watching a few movies.
Summary: While the Tablet has the best screen I have viewed to date, the tablet is slow and laggy. The Snapdragon 800 is a very fast chip the tablet though runs very slow and laggy. I can only attribute this to the samsung bloat on the tablet. The included software is nice, Hancom is useful, but most is JUNK. Samsung saw it fit to disable one of the new features of Kit Kat and disabled the full screen lock widgets when music is playing.
Summary: Seems like it would be an awesome tab but the one I got had several issues. It sporadically lost wifi connection and needed to be rebooted in order for wifi to work again. Also, it work force close several apps/games after a few hrs of use (netflix, badland, ect.) I'm not sure if its a RAM issue or over heat issue. As well, the rear cover had gaps between it and the tab body in a few areas, almost as if it wasn't glued in place properly.
Summary: I recently purchased this tablet after reading the reviews. There is a lag switching from screen to screen which I found very noticeable. I didn't appreciate how heavily Samsung customize the android OS making the installed build quite bloated. This tablet wasn't for me and given how expensive it is I couldn't ignore the cons, sadly I am sending the tablet back. I used to use a stock Nexus7 which was very fast and made the switch for the larger 8.4" screen .
Beautiful Screen but with some some significant gotcha's

Summary: I loved the great display which was offset by how clumsy it was to hold. Since it's almost the same size as the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 which we also own, I was surprised. I think it was poor weight distribution. When rotating from landscape to portrait or the reverse, it was noticably slower to respond than the GT 3 8.0. Perhaps there's a price to pay for that high-resolution. Interestingly, Samsung would not honor the perks offers that came with the purchase.
