Summary: They only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because I had to exchange the first one I purchased. It kept freezing and locking the screen for no reason..so I decided to pay the difference and buy a brand new one only because I did not want to wait 10days for a replacement and I LOVE MY Galaxy TAB! The sound quality and picture are dynamic! You will not be disappointed! I would still buy refurbished because it's a great discount and they are often flawless.
Summary: The screen locks up often and whenever I check Internet speed on my network it's never at spec therefore making streaming virtually impossible and I know it's not my network I've checked it with other devices and those devices are working fine and the test is in or above spec I've only had the device for a about a month

Summary: Ok So this product is very nice for the price and it does work somewhat well. The only problems i am having are three. First, It freezes. I will not say often but when i first started using it, it wouldn't freeze at all. Now it is freezing more often. I will say it could be because of the apps i download. Although i don't download much. Second, the power cord has a short.
Summary: If it didn't die and subject me to the worlds most ponderous support session I would give this 5 stars. Two hours of my life i won't get back wasted on worlds worst replacement process. Ugghh Did I mention how horrible support process is?
Excerpt: I have been able to perform several of the tasks which the TAB 3 is capable of doing. I do need some help managing photo's so I intend to visit Staples soon and have Will explain how to accomplish then tasks that I am having trouble with. Do to a knee replacement I have been confined to the house for 3 weeks but am looking forward to getting out to Staples next week.
Excerpt: Tablet was just the right size and the resolution was very good but the back and home buttons are to far down, my hand kept hitting those buttons and then I would have to start over what I was doing, other than that it was a very good tablet.
Pros: Battery Life, Bright Screen, Easy To Customize, Screen, WiFi
Summary: So I did pretty exhaustive research on the "mini tablet" market. The Galaxy Tab 3.0 8" was a prime contender. I looked at the Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HDX as well, but I settled on the Samsung given that I'm a Samsung fan (Galaxy S / Galaxy S3 phones). As usual, Amazon shipping / order process was great. When I got the Tab, it was ~60% charged which was nice. Everything worked well and started loading apps. But pretty quickly I realized a few issues.
