Excerpt: I received my Tab 3 8.0 as a 2013 Christmas gift, and have had very limited use of the unit due to repeated non recognition of my password after having reset my password on three separate occasions. I have had to reset my password on my desktop, because I couldn't do it on the Samsung Tab Account page. This third time around I accessed my Samsung account via my desktop, I signed on and off successfully, but still couldn't sign into my Samsung account via my Tab 3 8.0.
Pros: Bright display, Built-In Speakers, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, very difficult to program
Summary: First when I got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T311 8.0 the seal of the box was open , it suppose to be sealed.Then with in two weeks it started freeze.. Before 30 days returned policy I called Amazon they said I can return it and they send me the return label . But liked the phone so much I thought I am going to give it try one more time but one night the phone was completely dead and will not turn on , next day I called Amazon they said Send it back since I called before 30...
Summary: Bought this at last minute during my travel to India, Tab was unlocked as promised, it worked well with Tmobile in US and Airtel in India, but when ever i swipe or type something in keyboard, its hanging for 10 seconds and this is for each key press that makes it more miserable, when contacted Samsung service center in Inidia they responded that it needs software update but told they wont do as its been bought in US, now i dont know what to do with it :( , can someone...
Summary: My Galaxy Tab 3 quit reading the SD card after about four months. I returned the system to Samsung for repair. When it was returned to me it still had the same problem. Samsung's e-mail said that my system was repaired and the SD slot had been replaced. I then checked online (Google search) under "Samsung Galaxy not reading SD card" and there are hundreds of reports like mine.
Summary: I received the packet unsealed - dont know why the seal was broken. It gets shipped from China and has a lot of difference as compared to tablets made for American market. The google play app does not work and a lot of applications were not able to install. The tablet hangs sometimes. I would not recommend anyone to buy it as some features like Keypad are starkly different and odd than regular American version. Even if we change the input setings to American English.
Summary: It all went well for 3 monthe then, all of a sudden, the battery charging went crazy, regardless of the charger used: it tells you that is 45% charged and in a few minutes it reports 100%; ofcourse, as soon as you try to use it the battery is back to 45% and draining fast. Or it will not charge at all. Or if plugged, even if in airplane mode and being used only for reading offline, the battery goes down or, if lucky, remains the same, without ever charging.

Summary: I really like the product but after the first week the battery would only hold a charge while it was idle. Every time I turned it off and turned it back on, the battery would lose at least 40% of the charge. Returned it and am still waiting for a refund.
Screen went out in less than 24 hours of receiving

Excerpt: I was so excited to get this tablet, it was the perfect size. After receiving it it was really easy to set up since I am familiar with the android devices. But, I wasn't really happy when less than 24 hours of recieving the 8" tablet the screen just went black. Sound still worked, but the screen just died. Customer support was great in assisting to get the tablet returned, but now I'm left to decide if I want to purchase another.
