Summary: My daughter has this tablet and I got my grandson the Galaxy 3 for Christmas. I got them both SD cards so that they would have more memory, thus thinking this would allow for more games to be downloaded. I was very disappointed to find that you cannot download games to the SD card. What good is external memory if you can't use it???
Summary: When I first got it I did love it, however whoever designed it did not give any thought to firmware updates in the first 1 to 2 years of life for this product. The 8 GB internal SD card proved to be too little to support the upgraded firmware and it just recently has been able to store app data to the external SD card.
Pros: Bigger than my Galaxy S4. Resolution is not "retinal" but still very very good for movie watching. Much easier to read web pages than the 1080p S4. Makes me realize 1080p is kind of silly on anything less than maybe 10.1. Was disappointed by this tablet for 3 weeks but now beginning to appreciate the virtues of this mid-size and now understand the layout and use of the soft and hard buttons. Quality and performance is far beyond much the cheaper low resolution 7 inch ...
Cons: Others likely disagree as my "Cons" are base on personal preferences and expectation. I should have ordered the Tab 3 for button compatibility with Samsung Galaxy phone. I need the center "button". The 7 inch plastic screen is very prone to finger prints - more so than the gorilla glass of the S4. The volume control orientation does not change with position of the device - unlike the original and more elegant Galaxy 10.1.
Summary: I really want to love this device. It is small enough to fit in my purse and priced right. It has a nice, clear display. I also have a Samsung phone, so it integrates perfectly with my phone. However, after having it for 3 months there are some things that I just don't like. First, the battery doesn't hold a charge very long. Even on the power saver mode, it will need to be charged twice a day.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery, memory issues
Okay tablet, not great battery life, and decent performance.

Summary: the Tablet is good. but battery life while playing games...not so much. Speaking of games, how is gaming performance? not too bad...but not that good. games like Minecraft pocket edition run good, but more hardcore games don't. the screen isn't that good, its only 10,24 x 600. the cameras suck. overall for the price its a decent tablet. but I recommend spending a little extra money for the nexus 7...
