Summary: Buyer beware this item has no warranty!!!!!! Nowhere does it say that on the sellers page, yet it came in a plain box and had no paperwork!!!!! When I called I was told by customer service "it didn't say there was a warranty". If you want a warranty it costs extra. Are we to assume that all products listed on Amazon do not have a warranty unless it says so???? I thought amazon was better than that.
Summary: The screens break down way too much. Their customer service is the worst I have ever had to deal with. They close your ticket after three days. They want paperwork but when you ask what paperwork they refer you to a different number. Quite the runaround. I will never buy another Samsung product again.
"Many application problems and uneducated support."
10 April 2012
Pros: none because I haven't been able to get perfectly new devices to EVER work and samsung doesn't know how to help and refuses to escalate to supervisor levels.
Cons: Poor applications for this device. NO real support. They have had so many complaints they have developed whole departments whose job it is to block any upset customers from actually talking to a supervisor etc. No accountability. RUN!
Summary: Wow! I got so excited like many others to get an android-based device. I was disappointed. What can I say about this product, the Samsung Galaxy tablet 10.1 32GB Wifi GT-P7510MAVXAB. I would like to start off by saying that I love samsung products but this device didnt meet my standards. I dont really like apple based products and it was recommended by a friend to buy this tablet. I purchase the tablet from Amazon about a month ago since then I have used it a few times.
"Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 does not work with eduroam"
15 February 2012
Pros: I cannot really list any because I could not connect it to the wireless at work.
Cons: It did not connect to the eduroam. I did google on it. This has been a problem for several months. Samsung has chosen to ignore it. I understand that this is not limited to eduroam and it does not work with most corporate wireless networks.
Summary: Length:: 1:03 Mins Hi, I have screen flicker that makes it impossible to see any thing on screen. When I wake up device it starts fine but after 15 Minutes it starts flickering more and more so I must sleep the device for 1 hour to be able to wake up again.
Excerpt: This product isn't samsung's greatest! They need to work on it some more. I love samsung it's just that this tablet is so horrible it shames other tablets as well. They could at least make adobe flash player available for the samsung galaxy tab 2 I mean how else are you suppose to play facebook games? Get with it samsung please!
Would-be-great Tablet with Serious Manufacturing Defects
Mount Olympus "mountolympus", Amazon
17 October 2011
Summary: Tablet has great features and design, however a serious manufacturing flaw has crept into batches of the product: Newton Rings ("moisture/oil-looking spots under the surface of the screen). Many people are having this problem (see this thread, for example: [...], and Samsung is not doing much to address it. I went through 3 units and all had the same problem, frustrated and wishing I had returned it within 30-day return window and bought another brand. Buyer beware!
before you buy this. It has one BIG defective problem
Mr. T, Amazon
16 September 2011
Summary: I really want to love this product. Sadly, the table and Samsung service department let me down so badly. I got my first tab. With in a week, it developed a smudgy oil streak under the screen (see Customer Image I posted). Went back to replace a brand new tab at the store. Got the second brand new one. The problem started again after 2 weeks. Contacted Samsung, got the screen replaced (took about a month!!!). Got it back. Then, after a week, it started again!!!.
Summary: A couple of weeks ago while using my tab a pop-up informed me I needed to do a firmware update. I should have known better, however I accepted and have regretted it since. The update installed Touchwiz which has been a nightmare. Now I am faced with having to root my Tab and install a clean version of Android which will void my warranty. So why give a very decent tablet a one star rating? The one thing I find most appealing about Android is the freedom of choice.
